KATYA CHENG HSIAO CHING 

The inspiration came from the ink painting with the Zen in the east. Hand dyeing the leather, making it like an elegant ink painting, full of Zen. The positive space composed by the gentle ink dyeing leather, and the negative space constituted by the cold metal structures, are in contrast, but nicely balanced. This designed has participated the theme "Oriental Touch" of Poltrona Frau.

設計靈感來自於東方富有禪意之水墨畫，皮革以手工墨染方式處理，就像一幅優雅的水墨畫，禪意隨墨色奔流而出。墨染皮革繃緊包覆椅墊的實而溫柔以及金屬椅架所製造出的俐落需空間形成視覺上的對比，一柔一剛，一實一虛，卻和諧相襯，如同東方元素與義式風格的相互映襯與融合。

 

The framework of the armchair is made by stainless steel cylinder. Wood is the support structure inside the cushion. Using leather to cover on cotton, cotton-wrapped springs and wood structure as an armrest and the cushion.

以不鏽鋼圓柱彎管焊接成扶手椅骨架，木頭作為椅墊內部支撐結構，牛皮包覆棉花、彈簧與木結構作為扶手與椅墊。
