With material properties of the translucent concrete clock, I would like to change the habit of people watching the clock and the relationship between people and clocks. The behavior of watching the clock should be as natural as time exist in our life. The translucent concrete clock exists on the wall of the industrial-style building in the most natural way, no matter the seeing perspective, no matter during the day or night. We usually can arrange the position of cabinets or where to set the TV on the wall when doing the Interior decoration, but we rarely use the same attitude to face the clock setting, If we consider more of the clocks made of building materials during the construction process, regard them as inseparable, the clock is a part of the building. Changing the attitude we used to face the clock and time. It may also indirect impacts us of the attention and plan to the time in our daily life.

藉由透光混凝土材質的特性改變人看時鐘的習慣以及人與時鐘的關係。看時間的行為與時間存在於我們生活都一樣都該是自然而然，透光混凝土時鐘就是以最自然而然的姿態鑲嵌於工業風格建築的牆上，無論視角，無論白日黑夜，時間可以被看見這件事都像時間的存在一樣自然。我們時常在建築室內裝潢時就安排好櫥櫃的位置或者電視鑲在牆上的位置，但我們卻很少用同樣的態度面對時鐘的設置。如果我們以建築材料所設計製作的時鐘可以在建築的過程中就被考慮，將兩者視為一體，時鐘已是建築的一部分，本就鑲嵌於牆上。改變以往我們對時鐘以及時間的態度，是否可以間接的影響我們在生活中，對於時間的重視與規劃。

Translucent concrete is a concrete based building material with light-transmissive properties due to embedded light optical elements — usually optical fibers. Light is conducted through the stone from one end to the other. Therefore the fibers have to go through the whole object. This results into a certain light pattern on the other surface, depending on the fiber structure. Shadows cast onto one side appear as silhouettes through the material.

透光混凝土是一種嵌入具有導光性的光纖或壓克力而製成的混凝土，導致光可以穿透混凝土本身，因此導光材質必須完整的穿透整塊混凝土，可以藉由改變導光材的位置與分佈來改變其光穿透混凝土後的光影變化。
